Replay

See what happened, then talk about it.

Replay is the record an employer receives after an applicant works a Calavion environment. It shows what was available, what the applicant did, what changed and what was left open.

Scrub through a session.

This viewer shows what a Replay records, using the fictionalized cancellation case. Step through it, or switch paths to see the same case end differently. Replay keeps both. It does not say which was best.

Illustrative Replay

The cancellation that never happened

A made-up session on an invented case. It is not a real applicant and not a screenshot of the application.

    What Replay contains

Every item below comes from what happened inside the environment.

    Exact messages and actions

The applicant’s messages as written and the actions they took, in order.

    Records opened

Which records they opened, and in what order.

    Consequences

Delayed messages and events, including those that arrived on a timer.

    State after events

The recorded state of the case after each event.

    Questions and assistance

Any question the applicant asked and any assistance actually provided during the session.

    Open work and source label

What was outstanding at the end, and a label showing whether the case is hand-authored, synthetic or imported.

The recorded state after an event can include details the applicant never opened, so check what they actually opened before assuming they knew something.

    What Replay is not.

Replay is a record for a person to read.

    Not a recording

It is not a video, a screen capture or a browser monitor. It does not record the screen, the webcam or keystrokes, and nothing outside the environment.

    Not a judgment

It is not an AI verdict or a score. Calavion does not currently produce automatic scores, applicant rankings or hiring decisions. Employers inspect the work and make the decision.

    Not a mind reader

It shows what an applicant did. It does not read or infer private reasoning. That is what the conversation afterwards is for.

    Recording and access.

Every action and free-text message an applicant sends inside the environment is stored and shown in Replay. The employer who invited the applicant sees it through its company login. Calavion staff can technically access the data. No retention period is enforced today, so none is stated here. See For applicants.

    Why this changes the interview.

Instead of asking an applicant to describe how they would handle a situation, the employer and applicant can discuss a specific moment: this message, this decision, this record they opened or missed. Employers can also record their own observations and interpretations against the approved requirements. Those entries are typed by people and kept separate.

The messages marked “invented” above are illustrative. Calavion never writes or scripts what an applicant says. The environment’s own wording is shown as recorded in the current sample case, and other cases may differ.
