Not every piece of company work makes a good Calavion environment. This page says what does, and what does not fit today.
The four-part test
Work suits an exercise when it has four parts: records to read, a rule that limits what a person may do, someone affected, and a consequence that follows. The ingredients below describe those parts in more detail.
What makes work suitable?
Suitable work generally includes most of the following:
- Records to inspect. Something real for the applicant to read and weigh.
- Incomplete or conflicting information. Not everything arrives pre-resolved.
- A decision with more than one credible option. There is a real choice, not one obviously correct answer.
- Some communication. A message to write or a response to give.
- Operational actions. Something the applicant does inside the environment, not only describes.
- Permissions and constraints. Limits on what the applicant may do, as in the real job.
- Immediate or delayed consequences. Actions change the state of the case, sometimes at once and sometimes later.
- Ownership and unfinished obligations. The applicant can leave something open, and that can be the responsible outcome.
What fits, and what is a harder fit?
The cancellation and refund handover, with order, payment, fulfilment and warehouse-thread records, is the worked example. Work from other role families fits when it has the same ingredients. See where Calavion applies.
Live chat, voice, phone, queue or multi-ticket work, outbound or retention work, and quality-assurance or regulated work are not supported.
If you are unsure whether your work fits, the fastest way to find out is to bring it to us. Please do not send customer records in the first message.
