See the work before the hiring decision

1. Bring one situation

Start with work your team has already handled. Source files are never shown to applicants.

3. You approve a version

You review the full case before any applicant sees it. An approved version does not change.

5. Applicant does the work

They read records, write messages and take actions. Consequences can be immediate or delayed.

7. You receive Replay

See what was available, what the applicant did, what changed and what stayed open. You make the decision.

Calavion is a real-work hiring platform. Applications and interviews give indirect signals, so a company brings work it has already handled into hiring and both sides discuss what the applicant actually did.

2. Calavion prepares it

Calavion builds the environment with you.

4. Applicant orientation

No account needed. An invitation link opens company-specific guidance tied to that approved version.

6. Guidance is preserved

Questions and actions are kept as part of the work. Any assistance actually provided is visible in the evidence.

Start with work your team already knows

A company does not need to begin by writing a generic assessment. It can bring a customer problem, an operational exception, a disputed record, an unfinished obligation or another situation its team has already handled. Calavion uses that material to prepare an environment that is relevant to the company and the responsibility.

A controlled, company-approved environment

The environment contains the records, rules, people, available actions and consequences needed to handle the situation. Applicants do not access live customers, production systems or the company’s real records.

Material a company provides has already left the company’s own systems. Calavion reviews it and replaces identifying details by hand before an applicant sees the case, and the company approves the result. This is a manual step, not automatic redaction.

The approved version sets the starting conditions. Applicants assigned to that version begin with the same available information, while their choices and timing can cause the work to develop differently.

Applicants investigate, communicate and act

Applicants do not select an answer from a list. Depending on the responsibility, they can inspect records, distinguish facts from assumptions, apply company guidance, write messages, make operational decisions, respond to new information and leave clear ownership for unfinished work.

The environment responds to what they do. Information can arrive, deadlines can pass, another person can respond and an action can change what becomes possible next. These consequences happen inside the controlled environment, not in live company systems.

Replay preserves evidence from the work

Replay shows the applicant’s exact messages, the records they opened, the actions they took, delayed messages and consequences, the recorded state of the case after events, and any outstanding work. It is a record for a person to read. It is not a video, a screen capture, a browser monitor or an AI judgment. Read the full Replay explanation.

Your team makes the hiring decision

Calavion does not currently produce automatic scores, applicant rankings or hiring decisions. Employers inspect the work and make the decision.

Employers can also record their own observations and interpretations against the requirements of an approved environment. Those entries are typed by people and kept separate. Nothing is drafted or ordered by Calavion.

No live system integrations

Calavion does not currently require or provide live system integrations. You provide exports and files, and Calavion prepares the environment.
